MICALET (Pelletized Mica)

MICALET 21PU Comparison btw. MICALET & Powder in injected quantity

WHAT IS MICALET
For compounding, mica powder is very difficult to feed in the extruder and causes low workability because the powder flies
apart due to the small bulk in specific gravity. Our original product MICALET solves all of these problems as it is pelletized.
The name MICALET is formed from Mica Pellet.

CHARACTERISTICS
MICALET is a mica powder pelletized with the aid of small amount of resin binder.
Granulated powder fed in a extruder is mixed with screws, becomes initial particles and is equalized.
Use of MICALET provides the following advantages;
  • Input in extruder will be more effective due to large bulk in specific gravity (approx.0.7g/m)
  • Compound containing mica in high-quantity will be easy.
  • Work environment will be improved as it prevents fly powder.

We can also prepare various products upon your request; For example, pelletization without binder, treatment with silane
coupling or using inorganic components other than mica, etc.
